THE BLUED PROJECT

Advertising class requirement due a month ago, ended last week. Design department head/print-ad model/ramp model.

Look what happened! Remarkable.

If by chance you stumbled in my Facebook wall, accidentally listened to my radio show, or saw me walking in the university park you might be familiar with this trying-to-be-viral ad for our campaign entry in THE BLUED PROJECT, sponsored by Blued:

That is, btw, UST's entry for the said contest above. It's our Live in Color campaign -- an IMC plan attempt to take Blued clothing a notch higher by bursting out the basics with colors. Message sent kids. It is a superb IMC plan. But today's trend of "People's Choice" awards by the use of SMS and facebook likes took us out of a generous amount of 25% to win.

But mama ain't here to talk about it. Fast forward to the culminating activity where the schools are ought to present their collections on the runway and join Blued in launching their Summer Collection, here, let the pictures do the talking:

Aside from our blockmates waiting for the event since morning, the early rehearsals at 7:30 from a sleepless night, and staying at the dressing room for five hours for make-up, this first of an experience are beyond words to be put on my blog. Uhm, are my lost for words enough to tell you how I feel? Haha!

Sleepless models for the day: Sieg, Trisha, I and Lean. We slept in the dressing room and are not able to notice it until we;re called for make-up.

The good guys from Southville International School aced The Blued Project with their Safari theme conquering the IMC competition from Letran's Nautical Collection, Lyceum's Back in Black and UST's Live in Color. Our five hours in the dressing room are spent with pro make-up artist Byron Velasquez and stylist Miss KC Leyco. The date was March 24, 2011. A Thursday, preceding an all-nighter for our final paper in Literature and a summer prelude to Pampanga. Remarkable.
